Lucy Katherine Pinder (born 20 December 1983 is an English glamour model, from Winchester, Hampshire. Modelling career In the summer of 2003, Pinder was spotted by a freelance photographer while sunbathing on Bournemouth beach. As a result of the photographs taken that day, she signed a professional modelling contract with Daily Star.
From the beginning of her career, Pinder was regularly partnered with Michelle Marsh, with whom she has appeared in magazines, television and corporate appearances. Pinder was also featured with other glamour models, including Danielle Lloyd, Sophie Howard, Jana Defi, Lindsey Strutt, and Saskia Howard-Clarke. Since then, she has appeared on the covers of magazines, such as Loaded, Maxim, Nuts, ZOO, Ice, Carnoisseur, Redline and Fast Car. Pinder has also appeared in prominent adverts for PlayStation 2, Yellow Pages and the National Lottery.
Pinder currently runs a weekly advice column in Nuts magazine, entitled "The Truth About Women," and also has embarked on a television career. She is represented by Girl Management aka Girl and Frank White Pictures.
Born in Liverpool, Clancy formed girl band Genie Queen, who were managed by 1980s popstar Andy McCluskey from Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD).[1] The highlight of their career was supporting boyband Blue on tour. The group did not secure a record deal and fell apart.
Britain's Next Top Model
In the summer of 2006, the second cycle of Living TV's Britain's Next Top Model hit UK screens and Clancy featured as one of the thirteen finalists in the competition, competing over 10 weeks for a desired modelling contract. Clancy was determined to go far in the competition, but was criticized for being more glamour than high fashion. Clancy made it to the final runway show with fellow contestant Lianna Fowler, but at the final judging Clancy lost out to Fowler, because her look was more suited to editorial modelling. It was during the show, which coincided with the 2006 FIFA World Cup, that her relationship with football star Peter Crouch was revealed. This, together with Britain's Next Top Model, caused her to make headlines and start a successful media career.
Alexa Chung was raised in Privett, Hampshire, England by her English mother, Gillian (nee Burgess), a housewife, and her Chinese-English father, Philip, a graphic designer. She is the youngest of four children and has two brothers, James "Jamie" and Dominic, and one sister, Natalie Chung. She stated at an MTV award that she "really enjoyed eating watermelon with her siblings."
She attended the local comprehensive school, Perins College, and later the sixth form Peter Symonds College, Winchester (2000–2002). After four years, Chung quit modelling with the intention of beginning an art foundation or fashion journalism course, having become disillusioned. She had developed a “distorted body image” and “low self-esteem” through modelling. After becoming a TV personality, Chung made a return to occasional modelling. In 2008, she was the face of both Australian fashion label Antipodium's SS 2008 collection and Oxfam's ethical fashion range, Revamped. In September 2008, Chung walked the catwalk as part of the Vivienne Westwood Red Label Spring/Summer 2009 show at London Fashion Week. Chung appeared on the cover of the May 2009 issue of Harper's Bazaar UK wearing a Giambattista Valli gown, and later on the cover of the March 2010 issue of UK Vogue wearing Ralph Lauren. TV career In April 2006, then-model Chung was offered the job of co-host on Popworld on Channel 4, a music show known for its irreverent and awkward style of interviews. Chung and co-host Alex Zane also presented a weekly radio show called Popworld Radio in conjunction with the TV programme. The last show aired in July 2007, after Channel 4 decided not to recommission the programme, which had been on air for nearly seven years. In April 2007, Chung became a co-presenter with Ben Elton on ITV's "Get a Grip", described by the production company as "a new weekly observational comedy series which sticks it’s head above the parapet of 21st Century Britain, sticks it’s head straight back down again and screams “Get A Grip”. Following this, Chung signed a year-long "golden handcuffs" deal with Channel 4 in August 2007, worth £100,000.[9] As part of this deal, she guest presented Big Brother’s Big Mouth and appeared as a panellist on quiz show 8 out of 10 Cats. Jensen/Beesley live next door to a Los Feliz house Lewis was renovating and conflict arose after a deck that Lewis had constructed on the home crossed the property line onto the Jensen-Beesley property. Jensen/Beesley sued seeking $100,000 for an easement . Lewis reacted negatively and Jensen/Beesley filed a restraining order. Eventually in mid April 2009 the two parties settled for $30,000 easement and agreed the deck would not have to be demolished.
